Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (PT)
We are excited to bring you the first session in our Fellows Speaker Series: Inspire.
Stories overheard about Clive Piercy:
1. He started his first design office in a laundromat
2. He played football for Manchester (that's in England)
3. He holds the Guinness Record for the longest foldout design presentation in the world
One thing we know is true: Clive has a passion for design. And on March 19th we’ll find out why.
He’ll also share his stunning (and very effective) work, confess an annoyance or two, embarrass himself with hair-raising client stories, and enlighten us with his take on designing in a foreign land (L.A.) for over 25 years.
Bring your questions and let him have it. You won’t be sorry.
Clive will share the conversation with moderator John Sabel, Executive Vice President of Creative Print Advertising for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and a longtime collaborator.

About The Fellow Award
The Fellow Award is a national AIGA initiative founded in 1999. The program is a means of recognizing mature designers who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in practice and conduct within their local or regional design community as well as in their local AIGA chapter. The areas of education, writing, leadership and reputation, as well as the practice of design are given equal consideration in measuring significant contribution.
AIGA, the professional association for design, is committed to furthering excellence in design as a broadly-defined discipline, strategic tool for business and cultural force. AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice.
